Portsmouth 08/09 Away Kit

Written by Soccerlens. Tagged: 2008/2009 Kits - Portsmouth

The new kits for Portsmouth aren’t officially out yet but a leaked version of the 08/09 Pompey away kit has been doing the rounds, featuring a retro collar, the new Portsmouth crest and an odd blue and white contrast.

Here’s the shirt:

Decent shirt if it’s real, but one of those things where the color contrast looks a bit off when seen like this. Maybe it’ll look less odd when Pompey wear it next season.

This shirt has already been unveiled and is on sale.

Pompey wore it on the last day of the Premier League season at home to Fulham.

  2. It’s the real kit. Here it is in action against Fulham during their last game this year:

  3. I think that the previous away kit was better …… and the old Crest was better than the new !!!!

  4. I thought it was terrible when I first saw it, the crest was just wrong.

However saw one in the flesh on the day of release and bought it instantly, its actually a really nice shirt my only negative the collar is a little big and when down obscures the crest a bit.

  5. that shirt is beasty m8

  6. Yes, there’s a design fault with the collar in that it obscures the crest. Pesronally, I’d have prefered a darker shade of blue and it would look better with blue shorts rather than the white that make up the kit.

  7. wats differant but looks cool!!
