Liverpool 08/09 Away Shirt

Written by Soccerlens. Tagged: 2008/2009 Kits - Adidas - Liverpool

Liverpool’s 08/09 away kit is gray with red stripes on the shoulders and a strange check pattern on the front (I’m sure it helps with something). Not a fan of the ‘grey’ shirt but if Adidas have done this I’m sure they saw it in action and thought it looked good, and the real test of the 08/09 Liverpool away shirt will come when it goes up against some of the better home kits next season.

You can order the Liverpool 08/09 away shirt here and get a free Torres shirt in the process.

The goalkeeper kit is green, which to me is the only bright spot for Liverpool’s away shirt this season.

  1. Oh dear you wont see that on many of us kopites

  2. That shirt is a shoddy fake. Wait and see…

  3. Its an homage to the old Candy kit seen here http://images.google.com/url?q=http://beingsven.files.wordpress.com/2007/08/beardsley89away.jpg&usg=AFQjCNFZukmfpLoUN79iCcDMzTBAeMirLQ

will be a good test to see who the bandwagon fans are, people who have been around for a while should love it especially considering the team that wore those kits

  4. No wonder there’s no responses. Look at the thing. It’s absolutely hideous at best.

  5. absolute shite. how much do the marketing executives get paid to come up with this shite!!!!

  6. georger…. you are a dipshit. i have never known anything but lfc and i too know the beardsleys, barnes, aldriche’s etc but the shirt still sux. look forward not backward. step outside the box you dick. people wont like it enough… therefore there wont be enough money coming in. AND fella! THATS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT!!!! not paying fkn homage. fuk me!!!yeah lads, we didnt make any money or catch the other lot in the transfer market…. but we did pay homage! ahhhh hahaha think about it georger!

  7. i loved this kit from the moment i first saw it about 4 months ago, it’s a great kit, reminds me of my first Liverpool kit i had in 89 when i was 4 years old. It’s definitely better than the new European Away kit (the green thing). Although this picture is of a fake copy from Thailand, the real kit is the same style/design, just done better.

  8. I know for sure that this shirt was at least on of the three final proposals for next seasons away shirt. Interestingly two of the three shirts are grey, though one’s lighter than the other and the design is slightly different. Don’t know what the other colour is, but it’s not white and not green. A sky blue shirt was in the original shortlist of twelve, and may have made the fianl cut. I’d personally seen that one, though it was a little too close to Barca’s Blue kit for comfort.

It’s a hideous fake, surely everyone can see that?

  10. Yes Georger, we all remember them days well, but surely even those glorified years of success won’t render ones emotions to put on such a hideous outfit.

  11. Yes Georger, Great players, but I didn’t like the grey shirt back then, either

BTW, This is the last one I remeber buying

NAH!! NOT A GOOD LOOK AT ALL - HORRIBLE - WONT BE BUYING THAT ONE… TRY AGAIN

  17. Horrible…especially the checkered pattern. Looks far too much like something Umbro put together back in the 80s.

  18. Brando, a sky blue one was one of the suggestions for Liverpool? I REALLY hope Liverpool don’t wear blue EVER. Hello…reds vs the blues. How can we have Liverpool wearing blue.
