Juventus 2007-08 Away Kit
After making a great looking home kit for Juventus, Nike emerged with a horrible looking away kit for the 2007-08 campaign. Like Inter Milan and the jersey that looked like is should be worn by England, Juventus is wearing a kit that looks like it should be on the pitch for Sweden.
I do not know whose idea it was to add two yellow stripes to a field of all blue and call it an away kit for Juventus, but they should be fired. Granted it is simple and unique, two things I ask for with any kit, but this kit came out of the sky. I have no clue on the color scheme or story behind it. Over the years Juventus has had great kits, so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that this kit has a story behind it. For that reason I am giving it 2 out of 5 stars, truthfully I think it deserves 1 star.

Brad:
Years before Nike became involved, Juventus used to wear an away kit that was golden yellow with blue trim around the collar and sleeves.
I agree with you that this version doesn’t reflect the tradition of the club. It also resembles, in my opinion, the Boca Juniors home kit.
The original Juventus shirt was pink (similar to Palermo). Then as you noted, they decided to copy the kit of Newcastle United.
During pre-season friendlies this season, they were using a solid white kit that looked a lot better than this one.
i think this away kit has its own beuty, despite some comments emerged to compare it with the switzerland kit. this away kit symbolize that the old lady is universal and not being held only by the black and white colours.
For gods sake, the new away shirt has been released now but that away shirts colors represented Torino, the city…
It was pretty nice but the new one is godlike.
