Inter Milan 2007-08 Away Kit

Written by Brad Barnett. Tagged: Inter Milan

For the 2007-08 Serie A campaign, Inter Milan went a different route with their away kits. I would be lying if I said I knew where the inspiration came from, but it looks like a kit that should be worn by England. However I like its originality and unique features.

Utilizing a red cross on a white field, Inter Management and Nike have made a unique kit that is stunning to say the least. Nike incorporated small red markings on the edge of the sleeves to flow smoothly with the red cross that dons the entire front of the kit. In a unique position, the sponsor logo is under the Inter badge on the left chest. This is something that could only be done with a long time sponsor, such as “Pirelli”. With everything that makes this kit unique and nothing that Inter has had before, I must give it 4 out of 5 stars.

  1. Brad:

I believe that it has something to do with their 100th anniversary. If you look at the AC Milan crest, there is a similar cross symbol. So it may also be related to the city of Milan.

But it really is a distinctive design and color scheme.

  2. It’s based on the Milan Coat of Arms
