The new kits for Portsmouth aren’t officially out yet but a leaked version of the 08/09 Pompey away kit has been doing the rounds, featuring a retro collar, the new Portsmouth crest and an odd blue and white contrast.
Here’s the shirt:
The Liverpool 08/09 home shirt is now available for order. The shirt was launched yesterday and as with all things Liverpool they are bound to be a sell-out so get your order in as quickly as possible to ensure that you get your hands on the new 08/09 Liverpool home kit first.
And as an added incentive, with every order of the new Liverpool home kit you will also get a free Torres shirt for being smart enough to order as soon as possible. Not sure how long this offer will stay open though, so hurry up.

The Chelsea 08/09 home kit is now available.
Personally I like the gold trim and the collar is quite stylish as well (more imposing than the Liverpool one here). Overall, good kit (allowing for the adidas stripes on the shoulders which are a turnoff but nothing you can do about that).

Queens Park Rangers launched their new club crest on Sunday, 4th May 2008, and is perhaps one of the best ‘redesigns’ done this summer.
Flavio Briatore, Chairman of QPR Holdings Ltd, said: “I am delighted with the design of the new crest, which maintains the Queens Park Rangers tradition of blue and white hoops. I know how important it is to the fans that the hoops remain, and that was always going to be the case.”
Portsmouth FC have overhauled and modernised their club crest into a 3-D version which is more similar to Portsmouth City’s coat of arms and was first used in the match programme for Portsmouth’s last match of the 07/08 season.
The Austria 2008/2009 home shirt is a solid red kit with the Puma logo on the shoulders and on the right side (front), with the Austria crest sitting on the left:
Manchester United secured their second consecutive Premier League title on 11 May 2008, and if that wasn’t enough, they lived up to the expectations of 300+ million fans around the world to lift the UEFA Champions League trophy in Moscow last night.
It was a close game that ended up being decided by a nerve-wracking penalty shootout. The game had everything - domination from both sides, quality goals, heart-stopping misses, the farcical ganging up on the ref, the tragedy of missing crucial penalties and the sheer euphoria of winning the biggest club title of them all.
Manchester United are now 3-time European Champions, and 10-time Premier League winners. If there was ever a manager who lived up to his promises, it is Sir Alex Ferguson with his promise to knock Liverpool off their perch.
United now have 17 league titles to Liverpool’s 18 and 3 European titles to Liverpool’s 5. Would you bet against this United side?
KitBag have released special shirts, caps and badges to celebrate the Premier League / European Cup double.

Wigan Athletic have announced their new crest - and following the trend in recent years of going retro, Wigan have decided to create a ‘modern’ retro crest, and the cleaner, fresher crest is a marked improvement over the previous one.
Here they are:
