Chelsea 2006-08 Home Kit

Chelsea will begin the 2007-08 Premiership campaign wearing the traditional blue for their home matches. Adidas has always been a company that provides their teams with the upmost quality in uniforms, and this is no exception. Positioned on a solid field of blue is the “Samsung Mobile” and the classic Chelsea Badge on the left chest. Add the standard Adidas three stripes to each arm and a few white areas around the collar and there you have it. Chelsea’s Home Kit.

This is one of the most recognized kits in the world, and by keeping it basic and traditional, the team and Adidas have come up with a great product. Chelsea is one of the most respected clubs in the world, and this kit represents a top club all the way around.

Bolton 2007-08 Away Kit

When Bolton travels to play their opposition, they will take the pitch in this classic black Reebok top. Positioned on a solid field of black, Reebok again utilizes the space to apply the logo of “RBK” and makes it really stand out by making it white. One of the nicer additions is the light blue around the collar bones. Though no where in the colors of Bolton, I have always been a fan of this color scheme.

On the left chest is Bolton’s Badge. Again I am under the opinion that it is time for them to reconsider their logo. BWFC is clear on this top, as it is in white, however the ribbons of red and blue are tough to see. That aside I think that this is one of the nicest color scheme’s and tops in the Premiership this season.

Bolton 2007-09 Home Kit

When Bolton steps onto their home pitch, it will be in this classic looking kit from Reebok. This solid field of white with small touches of red and a dark navy blue create an extremely sharp and clean top. As with any great club, the crest or badge stands out on the left chest, and in my opinion it is time for Bolton to get a new badge.

Reebok utilizes the clean white jersey to display their advertising logo, “RBK” and has it match the colors perfectly. Thus creating that classic looking kit that everyone seems to be trying for these days.

Blackburn Rovers 2007-08 Away Kit

Blackburn unveiled a new color scheme for their away kit in 2007-08. This kit provides a combination of colors from the past. In the 2005-06 campaign the away kit was solid black, in 2006-07 it was solid red, so what is it in the 2007-08 campaign? Red and Black. Using the same kit as the home uniforms, Umbro and Blackburn used the red and black combination making this one of the most contrasting kits in the world. The Blackburn Badge on the left chest is a nice addition on the field of solid black, which makes it stand out even more.

I am a huge fan of this kit, aside from the sponsor logo, but no need to go into that again. The colors on the kit as well as the design has made this one of the leagues more popular sells, and it is easy to see why.

Blackburn Rovers 2007-08 Home Kit

The Blackburn Rovers will use virtually the same kit as they did the 2006-07 campaign, with a few minor additions. This season the White and Blue top by Umbro will feature more red, white and blue around the shoulders and collar, a very nice touch on an already nice top. Add the classic Blackburn Badge on the left chest and your home kit is complete.

The only issue I have with the jersey is the sponsor logo, granted there is nothing that Umbro can do to make it look any better. But it really takes away from the classic Blackburn top that we are so used to seeing. But hey, this is a business, and “Bet 24″ pays them a ton of money to have their logo on the front. So if they keep on writing the check for it, Blackburn will keep on putting it on there.

Birmingham City 2007-08 Third Kit

Club teams seem to have a third kit that is outrageous and has nothing to do with the color scheme of crest or badge and are often too busy. Birmingham City has created a third kit for the 2007-08 Premiership Campaign that is a different color scheme, but has none of the other traits that are typically associated with third kits. This top is a solid field of red with white and blue touches around the collar.

The sponsor logo and the Birmingham City badge really set off a nice looking third kit for this club. Sure to become a fan favorite, do not be surprised to see this kit often during this season.

Birmingham City 2007-08 Away Kit

When the “Blues” from Birmingham City travel to other destinations they will be wearing a simple yet classic white top from Umbro. This kit is placed on a solid field of white and has touches of blue and grey around the collar. Compliment that with two Umbro logos on the right collar bone and right sleve, and the Birmingham City Badge on the left chest and you have an extremely great looking jersey.

Unlike the home kit, the sponsor logo blends really well with this top due to the simplicity of the design. Many teams have tried to have an away kit that has a retro feel to them, and Birmingham City has done this and succeeded by making it something to see.

Birmingham City 2007-08 Home Kit

Umbro has long been known for their kits. From sponsoring countries such as England and Sweden, to other clubs around the world, quality has never been compromised. It is no different when it comes to the kits that Birmingham City will wear for the current campaign at home. This beautiful top is blue on the sides and white down the middle, matching the color scheme of the badge perfectly. Add an Umbro logo on each of the sleeves and top it off with the perfect amount of white around the collar and you have one nice kit.

However this kit does border being “too” busy. The sponsor logo is close to being too large, but that should not reflect the kit itself, but Umbro is very close to having too much going on. Call me a purist, but I like the classic solid kits. But you can make that call yourself.

Aston Villa 2007-08 Away Kit

Upon first glance of the 2007-08 Aston Villa Away kit I was in complete amazement. This Nike top could be the best looking kit in the premiership this season, if not the best it is definitely up there with the top teams kits. The team utilizes a classic all white jersey with the light blue pin strips down the jersey and around the sleeves that matches the crest perfectly. Add the sponsor logo of “32RED.COM” and there you have it.

It is a simple design, yet still manages to be one of the best looking kits in the world. It’s clean look makes it a favorite among fans.

Aston Villa 2007-08 Home Kit

Aston Villa will use a traditional looking top in their home kits for the 2007-08 Premiership Campaign. This Nike top is a solid field of Maroon with light blue sleeves and collar anchored by a maroon strip on the lower portion of the sleeves. This classic jersey is a retro look and pays tribute to the Aston Villa teams of the past by not going too flashy.

The color scheme is a perfect match to the clubs Shield on the left chest, and add the sponsor logo of “32RED.COM”, and you have a top that is a safe gamble.

Arsenal 2007-08 Third Kit

With the home kit and the away kit being some of the most classic looking in the Premiership, you would think that Arsenal could have done similar with the third kit. Horizontal strips of maroon and navy are only broken up by the sponsor Fly Emirates in gold. Add the traditional Arsenal badge on the left chest, which does not match any of the colors on the top, and you have an eye sore to say the least. Nike also included a retro flip up collar to this top that brings in the past, however it is a little to late with this one.

However, this is a unique jersey that is sure to be a seller. Hop on over and get yours today, maybe Arsenal will come to their senses and discontinue this kit after the 2008 campaign is done and make this a collectors item.

Arsenal 2007-08 Away Kit

This years Arsenal away kit is just a classic as the home kit. Positioned on a solid field of white, this Nike top is touched with just enough maroon around the collar and cuffs to make it stand out. Add the logo of the sponsor Fly Emirates and the Nike logo in maroon as well as the classic Arsenal badge on the left chest and you have a top seller among football fans.

One classy touch on this jersey is the tribute to Herbert Chapman positioned on the inside of the jersey on the neck. Adds a link to the past while looking towards the future.

Arsenal 2006-08 Home Kit

Arsenal opened the 2007-08 campaign with the same home kits as in previous years. The Nike top is set in a solid field of red, white sleeves, white collar and red on the cuffs. Add the Fly Emirates sponsor in all white and the badge on the left chest and you have one of the classiest uniforms in the Premiership.

Even with the new kits set to unveil next year, I do not suspect Arsenal to veer too much from this classic look. It is sharp, to the point and can put fear in the hearts of many teams.
