Colorado Rapids 2008 Home Kit

Thinking of some of the old Colorado kits, either an ugly green or a black and blue striped fiasco, the new kits both look excellent. They don’t have a shirt sponsor, but have opted to go for the tradition of plastering their team name on the chest, with “RAPIDS” in big letters. The kit blends both of the club colors nicely, and is actually pleasant to look at.

The away kit is also a nice color. “COLORADO” is written in place of the shirt sponsor in this case, the tradition for MLS away kits. Seeing as how I have a goalkeeper kit this color and also a tie for special occasions, I am perhaps biased towards this light blue color, but it’s very simple yet elegant. The only problem on the Colorado kits might be the collars; they could probably do without one.
