Chelsea’s 08/09 third shirt is - ta da - yellow. Not electric yellow but mango yellow. If you’ve never had mangoes, well, it’s the brightest natural yellow you can find, and it’s so yellow that you can’t help mistake it for anything else.

Before the jokes start (and there will be plenty), the truth is that Adidas have stepped up their game with their kits for Chelsea this season, doing a much better job than what we saw last year. The away kit is class and the third kit isn’t as bad as the neon-yellow stuff players were wearing last year.

Of course, Ashley Cole and John Terry will look utterly ridiculous in yellow but that’s besides the point. The shirt’s a good one, it’s the players…

  2. Dang…I hear ya Jack+Toby! I hate it! The yellow last year was ugly enough! Now they haveto wear this!
