Lazio 08-09 Away Kit
Lazio’s 08-09 away shirt:
Scotland’s 08/09 home shirt by Diadora is - well, it’s a bit old-fashioned. Stylish, but with a ‘times gone by’ feel to it.

Every season teams come out with brand-new shirts for a change in uniform as well as the chance to make money. Here you’ll find all (ok, almost all) shirts released for the 2008 / 2009 season (2008 for those in the US).
You’ll find kits from England, Italy, Spain, Germany, elsewhere in Europe, US and a boatload of international kits (from the ACN, Euro, Olympic and World Cup qualifying archives).
Here you go:
Lazio’s 3rd kit for the 08/09 season is a plain black affair but the good thing is that you can get it without any sponsor logos if you so choose.
1860 Munich’s home shirt for the 08/09 is the perfect example of how style and substance can lead to an instant classic shirt:
Newcastle United’s third kit for 08/09 is silver. Yes, silver. Looks better than light blue or purple, but I don’t think it’ll look that great on the pitch.

Milan’s 08/09 third kit, like the away kit, is fairly similar to last year’s 3rd kit with a slight change in the stripe pattern and going with half stripes instead of full stripes on the sleeves.
If they’re in mourning for missing out on the Champions League, maybe they should’ve taken them off instead (stripes, not shirts)?

Manchester United’s 08/09 away goalie shirt is bright yellow and although the shade is less torturous than electric or bright orange, one wonders why Nike would play with yellow on United’s kits?
Going to black for the keeper kits would have been a better idea this season considering how people have clamored for them, although since this is a ‘blue theme’ season I suppose yellow goes better with blue.

Nottingham Forest’s 08-09 home kit is, very, very nice - bright red base with limited white trim on the collar and sleeves. the Capital One logo is inconspicuous (a good thing if the logo is average to begin with) and Umbro have kept the shirt simple which works quite well given the color scheme:

For Real Madrid fans - a special edition of the 08/09 home kit celebrating the title-winning 07/08 season:
Olympiakos’ 08/09 Home Kit is a stunning red and white that’s almost spoiled by the vodafone logo in the center of the shirt. It’s too high and the insignia just ruins it.
At first glance, Nike seem to have blown this one - a red and orange checkers pattern is no way to design a kit, regardless of how good the idea looked on the design table.
However, it’s a bold design and one that could arguably used to give players a certain swagger when they step on the pitch - as long as they’re OK with the opposition players pointing and laughing.
Monaco’s 08/09 away kit is sky-blue with the sponsor logo in white and red lettering and the Puma logo on the shirt and shoulders in black.
