Brazil 2008-09 Away Kit

Written by Brad Barnett. Tagged: Brazil

Brazil has released the 2008-09 Away Kit, and unlike my other posts I have the whole kit this time. From the top to the socks, it’s all there. Also I believe it should be noted that since Nike has now signed with France for three times as much as their contract with Brazil, the management for the Brazilian National Team is renegotiating its contract. Could we see Ronaldinho in something other than a Nike kit? Time will tell on that one. On to the kit.

The top is the blue that we have become accustomed to. It really pops with the white shorts and blue socks. But what makes the top so nice is the gold trim on the sleeves. Aside from that small difference the kit is a replica of the older days. The shorts are white with the blue Nike logo and Brazil badge, and the socks are blue with the five championship stars on the front. As if to say “We have 5, how many do you have?”. I really like this kit and I think Nike has done well to go back to the roots of Brazil with this one.
