Blackburn Rovers 08-09 Home Kit

Written by Soccerlens. Tagged: 2008/2009 Kits - Blackburn - Umbro

Blackburn’s 08/09 home shirt, designed by Umbro, sees the Rovers move to new sponsors Crown Paints.

Along with it there’s an end to the red trim that adorned the collar and shoulders last season and the result is a plain looking blue and white shirt that’s going to cause kit clashing headaches to almost all opposition teams home or away.

I loved the bet24 logo last year - it’s design and especially it’s colours gave the shirt a vibrant feel. Crown Paints don’t seem to have the same impact but apart from that it seems to be quite similar to last year’s kit.

This is not the new Blackburn home kit. It was just a plain kit that they used when Ince joined. New home kit design has not been released yet

  2. THIS IS THE SHIRT - Source is the guy who runs the rovers official forum/message board! if you have seen the shirt properly ther is the umbro logo top left just happens that on this pic u cant see it - go youtube see the footage when Ince was unveiled, people are kicking off about the horrible sponsor - that may change the way its presented, but the shirt IS the shirt for next season, doubt many will buy it if the sponsor stays like that tho - on the otherhand the new away shirt is very nice…

If this is the new home kit, then I am buying the away kit again! Loooks like Crown might be insisting on the blue background to their Logo? which might have been clevely woven into the away kit, by matching most of the shirt to it. But if this is the home shirt it looks really naff!

  4. I like the new kits there cool
