Aston Villa 08-09 Away Shirt

Written by Soccerlens. Tagged: 2008/2009 Kits - Aston Villa - Nike

Aston Villa’s 08/09 away shirt launches on 21st August and will be available for pre-order from August 1.

The shirt uses AVFC’s blue as the base for the shirt with black trimmings on the collar, black sleeves (blue trim at sleeve ends) and black shorts (blue trim at ends). The away kit follows the same shirt style and design as Aston Villa’s home kit and the ‘Acorns’ logo looks quite nice, along with the traditional collar.

Overall an excellent effort although Villa are helped by their claret and blue colors which can make any shirt attractive.

  1. What an average shirt. Am I the only person that thinks that since Nike came in the kits they’ve produced have been some of the worst Villa kits ever? Last seasons away kit was OK but the home and away ones this season are a joke and must have taken all of 5 minutes to throw together….they certainly don’t say “bright future” to me. The photoshopped kits that went around were awsome and that makes the real ones look even worse.

  2. Nice work making sure your away kit (as well as home) is the same as West Ham.

  6. wow mitch you wanker if you knew anything about the premier league you’d know that villa originally had the claret and blue colors and west ham somewhat recently copied it off them
